Jurdan Uruñuela
CEO at North Wind Flight – Professional Pilot
Pilot with over 9 years of experience, 5 of which living professionally from this sport.
He began his journey in the world of paragliding on the Canary Island of Tenerife, today he alternates seasons between the island and the Guipuzcoan coast to offer flights throughout the year.
A lover of acrobatic flight, he takes advantage of his free time to go to places where this type of flight is permitted, as well as distance or cross country flights.
Currently training to pilot a two-seater paratrike, to be able to offer this service.
Gerardo Perez
Collaborator at North Wind Flight – Professional Pilot
Pilot trained from the start by Jurdan.
His first contact with paragliding was in 2017 and since then he has not stopped until he managed to make a living from it. With two years of professional experience, Gerardo has followed in Jurdan’s footsteps, alternating seasons with the Canary Islands to stay active all year round.
In his early years, Gerardo participated in the cross country competitions of the Canary League, where he won a first and a second place in his category, in the test carried out on the island of El Hierro.
The company and our philosophy
We are a paragliding company in Orio and we dedicate ourselves to free flight in tandem paragliding on the coast of Gipuzkoa, Basque Country. For us, the most important thing is that the passenger enjoys a flight made to their needs and desires, thus fulfilling the dream that every human has: to feel like a bird for a few moments, always from the maximum safety.
Our pilots have been trained in the same flight area where these are carried out, and they have all the qualifications required by the competencies.
The material we use is always up to date with all revisions.
